It's just ME!
hei guys.. finally i'm back from all the MIA-ing! =)
well actually i dun really know what MIA actually represents.. but i just know it means NOT BEING ACTIVE.. where did i get this? ahah! from all the Foruming.. ^^
btw.. i had intended to post some of the Harry Potter Castle Trip pics.. but i kinda think i'm wasting my time. cos u guys can just click on Laysan, Liz or Wanmei's BLOGS links on the right..yeahh.. on the right, and you guys will see some of the pics. altho there might not be a lot of ME's inside..but well yeah..what else? it's someone else's blog..>.<
Seminars have started this week. I dunno if i should thank God for actually arranging my only 2 seminars in a row.. well i guess it's better than having all 4 seminars crammed in a week. Today's company and equity seminars were unexpectedly good. Good as in a sense that i got to learn something out of the discussions. (you guys should come to our lectures.. you'd see sleepyheads everywhere..>.<) And i actually answered some questions today!! Hurray! i feel proud of myself for braving all the obstacles to finally express my opinions!! YEAY!! oopss.. did i sound like i was bragging? hehe..sorry if i gave you guys that impression.. sometimes i just tend to deviat from the main topic and start crapping...hehe..mind my senseless-ness! sometimes, Miss Lo here needs attention. >.<

Living life~~
this post is in correspondence to Laysan's very first post in her blog.. she's absolutely right. Life here in Newcastle if strictly defined, IS really dull, boring and DRY (why the word dry? only some of us know why..hehhe.. invented by the Crap Club ^^) As she had mentioned in her post, life here is so mundane, so monotonous. Sleep, wake up, class, eat, sleep and there goes a day. Basically that's what a normal day in any person's diary would be like. However, i guess we expected much more from this country. Well, I'm not disappointed that i'm not living like what i had expected before i came here. It's just that sometimes i feel it's so meaningless.. living life so monotonosly. BUT what can we do? We cannot do anything but to accept and adapt to it. Imagine going thru the same LIFE for one year.. well the only thing that intrigues me now is that we can sleep a lot longer.. hehehe.. XD
And oh yea.. to that SOMEONE who's bothering my chinggu Laysan, i hope u have realised that you have affected her immensely (to the extent of venting her anger in her BLOG!!).. hehehe.. (to laysan: sorry i didn't mean to sprinkle salt unto ur wound.. but i hope u feel better now!! :)).. btw, i sounded a bit mushy (ROU MA in chinese) rite? mind me.. i just came back from church and i felt like extending mah concern to someone! Jesus asked me to spread the love!! :D hahahhaha...
nitez peepz!!

something about life in Newcastle~
here i am again.. here to resurrect my blog. i think i have posted some extraordinary journals for the past few days, addressing un-realistic issues. so now i'm here to actually write about LIFE in Newcastle..heheh.. which i hope could at least attract some readers?! =P
i arrived in Newcastle about a month ago. Back then i was amidst so much of hype. Cos it was my first time abroad without my family and I had noone else to depend on except my course friends. I had so many visualisations and imaginations on how fun it would be in a new country with a different culture and background. I expected something FUN, XCITING, EXTRAORDINARY and well, INTRIGUING! well the city didn't fail to impress me..... for the first few days. It was a refreshing experience to see a different side of the world. The weather here's cooler and we hardly sweat here. Compared to Malaysia, we'd be panting like HOT Dogs in broad daylight. Here, we can walk with ease without even a single drop of sweat. Besides, I was utterly surprised that Newcastle City, despite being one of the best Nightlife cities in the world, was not as modern as i had expected it to be. The buildings here are of moderate height and are mostly structured *traditionally (* of European Architecture). I had expected lesser buildings structured that way as Newcastle's a city. Obviously i was wrong. Another thing about Newcastle is that the people here love to walk. Maybe it's just me. The streets in Newcastle City are constantly packed and it's hard to find a nook or corner unoccupied. The goood thing is that noone ever cares about what you do. No matter what you wear or what you do, you're just not getting anyone's attention. I don't know whether they're born self-less or it's just the culture cultivated from the past. I like it this way. Imagine sitting on a bench on the streets, drinking Coke and eating sandwich in KL, you'd get glances from every corner. Here in Newcastle, you're just an ant, insignificant in short.
That's what i got from a month of walking in Newcastle. Basically, it's walking everywhere. Walking to school, walking home, walking to the city. Everything involves walking. I spend at least an hour walking per day. I had expected to slim down from all the walking. BUT~~ walking didn't help at all, well cos of the amount and calories i gobble up every single day (we can't stay away from Cheese burgers or sandwiches here.. cos that's what locals eat. >.<) The good thing is that we still stick to a chinese meal, during day. I have never really cooked a full chinese meal back when i was in KK or even during my 2-yr stay in KL. And here, I cook everyday, with the help from mah friends. For me, it's really fun and interesting. cos u may never know what you'd end up with after cooking. So far, there has never been any diarrhea or food poisoning incidents. SO i guess the food i/we had cooked for the past month was edible and reasonably delicious as well. I hate to brag but i'd have to admit that the food i cooked was unexpectedly tasty!! hahahhaha.. guys, mind my perasan-ness. it's juz me, being shallow and cheesy again! LOL..
well, those were basically the good things that i have learnt and experienced during the past month stay in Newcastle. i have more to say.. esp in correspondence to Laysan's post on LIFE.. she knows.. hehehe.. but i will leave that to mah next post..
nitez! ^^

Wannababe craze
hello peepz.. im back with pictures again AND some Golden DOTs ^^. actually, i have come to realise something really silly. I always criticise other ppl for being posers (displayed thru the countless self-cammed and freaky poser pics...^^), but i discover that I, myself, also indulge in such what we call useless antiques. It's in the self-conscious mind i guess. People tend to judge others without self-evaluation.We often find ourselves repeating the same acts that we had initially pin-pointed out on others. We, humans are shallow heh? BUT wellz.. that's something really silly to mention here in mah blog. I thought of creating a new philosophy but it seems that this so called innovation is something commonly known.kekekeke.. mind me guys.. i tend to deviat from the main topic all the time. there are moments when i just want to write something really deep (with jargons that ppl dun understand) and meaningful, aiks..but i end up with a piece of crap! cos often so i find my sentences and paragraphs irregularly structured and sometimes i even end up not understanding what the heck i wrote in such lengthy words.. so mind me.. NOW i'm expecting laughs and question marks in your heads.. u guys must be laughing hard at my stupid meaningless journal above yea? wellz.. try to understand, the soul of a philosopher wannababe (ME) is under intensive care now...>.<

Legendary Golden Dot
Legendary Golden Dot ....HEHEHEHE...
I didn't know I had this in ME! hahahah...lol.. what does it mean by the Legendary Golden Dot? Actually it's a direct translation from a chinese term, bearing the meaning - classic term (i dun think this term explains it fully too..>.<) well, it's an illustration of a situation when someone unexpectedly does something out of the blue (which normally would trigger laughs from others..) :D ====> LIKE ME!! hahahhahaa....tebal muka betul!!
It happened during a dinner when i suddenly blurted out something unexpectedly NORMAL to me but strangely extraordinary to all of mah friends, and from then on, I became the legendary Golden dot of the group. Well actually, i never thought my words could be of such influence to mah friends. I wouldn't say that my words are influential, but more of a trigger of laughter to mah friends. And i feel proud of that! hahaha.. im not bragging! but not all ppl can create golden dot phrases!! hahahahha.. aiks.. i guess some of you might be puking already, after reading the extremely Shallow and LAME paragraph above.. but yes, im trying to create another golden dot ok?

Traveling a Hassle?
We love to travel..BUT..
my first reconnexion post with Blogger - travelling hassle. actually i have never really considered travelling a hassle. UNTIL juz now. Me and mah bunch of friends were researching and planning to travel to Italy during Xmas. BUT little did we know, things were not as easy as we had expected. Really!.. the spirit was INDEED very willing but the flesh was EXTREMELY weak. it has never occured to me that travelling to another place would require that much of effort and strength.. effort as in the endeavour to dig up great deals and gobble up all cheap airflights; strength as in the emotional and mental ability to withstand the long hours of online research. The planning part was indeed the BEST part cos all the excitement and anxiousness went into it. but when it came to the research and stuff, the first thing that came to our mind was that - Can we get someone to plan for us? Puhleeeeezzzzz... Nope. Reality has been always brutal. WE ended up digging up websites for affordable deals. I even sacrificed my beauty sleep trying to make the best out of the situation that we were in. I wish there was a machine that could help us plan everything without us having to go thru all the mind-boggling information. Imagine yourself sitting in front of the pc, going thru words after words, swallowing all the relevant info in a fleeting glimpse, knowing that you are actually out of time. >.<
well that's it... i dun really know what's the status of our plan now. my mind's literally blank now. I can't take in anymore info. Neither do i have the energy to rant on how wonderful our Xmas Trip would be.. For now, I just hope everything goes well. Well God will certainly point a way yea? Shuckz.. i feel bad for only mentioning Jesus now.. should have gone into repentance mode!! >.<
I'm sorry guys, i feel that my sentences are a bit crazy-structured today(even this sentence is..).. thanx to the hassle the travelling research has given me!
oh btw.. i forgot to explain HERE!! hahaha.. i juz remembered. Well I'm HERE, in the heart of one of the best nightlife cities and craziest feverish cities craving for soccer in UK - Newcastle. You might think it's fun and great here. Well for a first timer like ME 3 weeks ago, it was indeed a wonderful experience. But try walking everyday to and fro from home to class and try fighting the strong wind with every step you take, you'd give it a 2nd thought.
okiez.. i gotta go to slumberland.. will post up some Newcastle pics later..
